The Art of the Tea Plant in Various Colors

Have you ever wondered how tea can have different colors, aromas and flavors?

Leaf tea comes from a plant called Camellia Sinensis that is transformed according to the place where it is produced and how the plant is treated. These methods can change the chemical components of the tea leaf, which makes each variety unique. For example, green tea is steam dried, black tea is oxidized, oolong tea has a process that is cut off before oxidation; also, we have Pu-Erh tea, white tea, all of them come from the same plant; everything else that does not come from this species is called Infusion.

The color and flavor of the tea will depend on the origin of the plant and how it is treated, there are more than 600 substances within the species, which give different characteristics to each one.

Don’t miss out on trying an endless number of aromas and flavors in a single plant, a true art to experience.

For us, the world of tea is not limited to this plant, we also include delicious plants and infusions such as Rooibos, from South Africa, Guayusa, originally from Ecuador, among others.
